8. Fan XX, male, aged 57, from Shibali Township in Weishi County, a preacher of the Praise Church. In the winter of 1999, someone preached God’s end-time work to him, but he refused to accept it, and he also spoke many words of condemning and blaspheming God and insulted and slandered the gospel preacher. Later, someone else went to his house to fellowship with him about God’s end-time work again. He ordered the people to lock the young sister in a room and not to give her food, and they also snatched away the young sister’s red woolen overcoat. He spent more than 20,000 yuan, but it was not cured. On August 22, 1997, he went to the netherworld.

11. Fan XX, male, aged 44, from Gushi County in Xinyang City, formerly a worker in the Local Church. In February 1995, someone preached to him the end-time gospel of Almighty God and gave him a book, but he did not accept and even drove the gospel preacher away. He told the brothers and sisters under him, “What the people of ‘the Eastern Lightning’ preach is a heresy, a cult. Don’t hear their message; once you hear, you will be deceived.” Being hindered by him, the brothers and sisters could not accept the true way all along. On July 12, 1996, Fan’s wife drank pesticide and died as a result of having a quarrel with her daughter-in-law. Fan himself had a slipped lumbar intervertebral disk. He suffered unbearable pain and had to rely on medicine to relieve the pain, and was unable to do any heavy work. In January 2002, when someone else preached to him the work of Almighty God again, he was very remorseful about his past resistance to God. After he accepted Almighty God, he preached Almighty God to more than ten brothers and sisters under him.

12. Wu X, female, aged 34, from Zhumadian City, a believer of the Local Church. In March 2001, the end-time salvation of Almighty God came to her, but instead of accepting it, she spoke many words of condemnation and resistance: “It is the deception of a false christ, a false prophet. If it is the true way, how could I haven’t been punished for burning your book?” Not long after that, Wu always felt there were sounds of beating drums and striking gongs in her house, which continued day and night. She was afraid, so she went to live with her sister-in-law. She had her own home but did not dare to go back. In May of that year, she hanged herself. Because of resisting God, she was delivered into satan’s hand and came to such an end.
